No amounts of 'reset MIDI devices' seems to work if launched before the device is powered and connected.įor the issues with aggregate device of your two interfaces (TD-30 + Tascam). I can tell you that the Roland needs to be connected before launching Reaper for the MIDI interface to talk.
Use the return from DAW to the TD-30 for monitoring and you can avoid having to make an aggregate device of the TD-30 + the Tascam. If true then you should be able to record 32 bit floating point and capture the internal digital sounds 1:1 regardless of level or accidental clipping. So it DOES have full audio interface functionality over USB? But it had a partial feature of being able to return two audio channels (only) from DAW host to the TD-30 for monitoring.
Could have sworn they stated of the TD-30 that it was a MIDI interface only and not an audio interface over USB. I had looked it up on Roland's webpage quickly.
